Drip is maybe the best place to get a "sweet treat" coffee or tea that I've found, tucked in the north end of Chinatown. They specialize in very high quality, luxurious feeling Vietnamese iced beverages with rich foams and colorful layers and they end up being both delicious and fun to look at.
